Blue Rider Design currently houses and maintains a collection of twenty two thousand textiles and original artwork from throughout the world. The textiles and artwork are all vintage ranging in date from the turn of the century to the 1970's. From Europe and America there are velvets, damasks, brocades, jacquards, among other woven techniques. French curtains, Victorian laces, and eyelets lend themselves to sophisticated projects. Print categories include: mid-century modern, art-deco/nouveau, toile de Jouy, stylized Asian, ethnics, lace, tropicals, abstracts, many styles of florals and foliage, among many others. There are endless yarndyes and 15,000 ditsy prints, neatly categorized. Artwork folios include originals of American 70s prints and painted fabric designs from Japan. The collection was artfully assembled by Andrea Aranow and thoughtfully edited and presented for fashion designers and brands globally.
