BLUE RIDER DESIGN, based in Portland, Oregon and managed by Caleb Sayan, houses and maintains an international collection of over 40,000 textiles and original artwork. In 2009, the studio began the process of photographing and digitizing the entire collection to provide greater acces- sibility. Our online archive offers the largest digitized and searchable selection of vintage and original textile designs in the world. Archive Opening Reception

Views from the opening of the new studio. It felt amazing to to finally have the textiles showcased and viewable. It was a great evening and nice to see familiar faces as well as introduce new ones to the collection. Next big milestone will be presenting our project at an archiving conference in June.
